AJ Styles returned at WWE Royal Rumble.
Former WWE Champion AJ Styles made his surprise return from injury at WWE Royal Rumble. He joined the men’s battle royal as the twenty-first entrant.
Styles had been out of action since October. He suffered a mid-foot ligament sprain during his match against Carmelo Hayes on the October 4th episode of WWE SmackDown. The bout marked his return to WWE television after he had been absent since June, though he had competed at live events over the summer.
