The Street Profits are back, and they are ready to go after the WWE Tag Team Championships.
During tonight’s WWE Royal Rumble, DIY retained their hold on the titles in a Two Out of Three Falls match against Motor City Machine Guns. The champions won, in part, due to the help of the Street Profits as they returned. Angelo Dawkins appeared at the end and used the crutches he had been carrying around to attack MCMG. Their interference cost the Motor City Machine Guns the match.
After the win, though, the Street Profits weren’t done. As DIY began celebrating their title retention, Montez Ford appeared, chasing a shocked and confused DIY out of the ring. Behind them, Dawkins appeared again, and broke the crutch over Ciampa’s back.
Ford then hit Gargano with the crutch, and the pair picked up the titles, holding them high and celebrating.
The Street Profits had been absent since late December, as Nick Aldis previously announced that they suffered injuries at a live event.
