Charlotte Flair returned at WWE Royal Rumble, and she emerged victorious.
Flair had been absent since December 2023, as she suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus during a match against Asuka. She underwent surgery, and she spent the next year rehabbing and preparing to return. Flair made her return in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match, as she entered the bout as the twenty-seventh competitor.
The match came down to Charlotte Flair, Nia Jax, and Roxanne Perez. Flair then eliminated Jax and Perez to win the match. In doing so, she earned a title shot of her choosing at WWE WrestleMania 41. This marked her second Royal Rumble victory; she won the match in 2020.
