NBA star Tyrese Haliburton was in the house at WWE SmackDown.
The January 31st episode of WWE SmackDown emanated from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana, ahead of WWE Royal Rumble, which will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium.
In the opening match, Carmelo Hayes faced Jimmy Uso. On his way to the ring, Hayes took a shot at Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton, saying that he wouldn’t miss like him. Haliburton was then shown in the crowd. Hayes also got in Haliburton’s face during the match. Uso then gave Haliburton a high-five, and he went on to score the win.
Triple H On Tyrese Haliburton
Triple H has teased that Haliburton could compete in the Royal Rumble match. He hinted at the possibility when Haliburton appeared at WWE Royal Rumble Kickoff.
Haliburton previously appeared on the June 28th, 2024, episode of WWE SmackDown. He also appeared on the September 17th episode of WWE NXT.
Haliburton is a two-time NBA All-Star, and he made the All-NBA Third Team in 2024.
