Triple H teases that anybody could be in the Royal Rumble match, even NBA star Tyrese Haliburton.
At WWE Royal Rumble Kickoff, Triple H teased that there would be surprises, and he even hinted that NBA star Tyrese Haliburton, who appeared at the event, could be one of them.
“I’m thinking about the Royal Rumble,” he said. “It makes me think, just about anybody could enter the Royal Rumble as a surprise. [Turns to Tyrese Haliburton] You got a minute?”
WrestleZone will have coverage of WWE Royal Rumble as it airs on February 1st.
Stephanie McMahon On WWE Royal Rumble
Stephanie McMahon has also teased that there will be plenty of surprises. She recently hyped up the event while speaking on The Pat McAfee Show.
“The Royal Rumble kicks off the road to WrestleMania,” she said. “So as you know, the winner of the Men’s Royal Rumble match and the winner of the Women’s Royal Rumble match, they go on to choose the championship that they’d like to compete for at WrestleMania, which of course is the Grandaddy of them all, the show of shows. That all starts with the Royal Rumble.
“So I think John Cena competing in his last Royal Rumble ever is gonna be really meaningful. I’m looking forward to Charlotte Flair’s return to the ring, it’s been way too long. Lots of surprises that I don’t even know about, and if I did, I wouldn’t be allowed to say. I don’t know, truthfully, I know some things, but not all things.”
