On January 29th, Asuka wrote that she had been feeling in danger recently, and she had consulted the police. She stated that, at this rate, even if fans approached her at the airport or in the city, she would feel like something could potentially happen, and it would scare her.
In a tweet on January 31st, Asuka wrote that WWE and TKO were taking action to protect her.
Asuka also noted that she rejected any romantic or personal approaches toward her, and there was no possibility for others to interfere in her private life.
Asuka has been sidelined since May 2024, and she underwent knee surgery. Creative has reportedly been discussed for her return, so her return may be coming sooner rather than later.
