Report: Update On The Wyatt Sicks Moving To WWE SmackDown, Reason For Their Absence

A new report provides an update on The Wyatt Sicks, who have been absent from WWE television in recent weeks.

On the January 13th episode of WWE RAW, Karrion Kross said that the group had been moved to WWE SmackDown. The Wyatt Sicks have not wrestled on WWE television since the December 9th episode of WWE RAW, though they competed at some live events during the holiday tour.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that while the Wyatt Sicks’ absence was assumed to be a consequence of Alexa Bliss’ planned return getting nixed, company sources say that an “injury-related reason” is preventing them from being on WWE television. Additionally, sources said that Bliss’ absence has not necessarily affected the long-term plans for the group.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider previously reported that Bliss was planned to return on the January 13th episode of WWE RAW, and a story with the Wyatt Sicks had been pitched as part of it. However, these plans were put on hold. The situation was later reported to be a contract issue.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
