WWE is officially set to return to France for Clash In Paris.
WWE announced the Clash In Paris Premium Live Event will take place at Paris La Défense Arena in France on August 31. This marks the first-ever WWE PLE to take place in Paris. This is also the second PLE in France, following 2024’s successful Backlash France event in May.
In addition to Clash In Paris, the Paris La Défense Arena will host a RAW taping on September 1. The RAW broadcast will be aired globally on Netflix.
“Backlash France in Lyon last year broke arena records and decibel levels, demonstrating just how loud and passionate our WWE fans in France can be,” said WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque in a statement. “We believe Clash in Paris and Raw will attract people from around the world to Paris and once again create a true spectacle.”
Fans can register now for an exclusive presale opportunity on WWE’s website. Priority Pass ticket packages will also be available from On Location. Fans can learn more about Priority Passes or to place a deposit by visiting https://onlocationexp.com/wwe/paris. WWE will announce more ticket information in the near future.
WWE’s road back to France
Nick Khan first announced plans for WWE’s return to Paris during a fireside chat at Preview Las Vegas on January 16. During his appearance, Khan mentioned WWE will bring a PLE back to France this year. He confirmed it would be in Paris (instead of Lyon last year), but noted it had not been publicly announced yet.
On Tuesday, WrestleVotes reported WWE was set to announce “Clash In Paris” and an announcement was expected imminently. A short time later, fans found a locked article on WWE.com that gave some insight about the event. The article confirmed the event name, logo and date of the event and remained locked until the announcement went public. WWE officially announced the PLE and RAW taping on Wednesday morning.
