Dominik Mysterio Makes Fun Of CM Punk’s Injury In 2024 WWE Royal Rumble Match

CM Punk suffered a torn triceps in the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match, and Dominik Mysterio made fun of the situation.

In a new video on WWE’s YouTube channel, various WWE stars watched the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match. In one highlight, Dominik Mysterio mocked CM Punk for getting hurt in the bout.

“A 47-year-old man tore his tricep,” he said. “Oh wow! Gee, I wonder why. Man hasn’t wrestled in 35 years, come back for the first time, tears his tricep. Oh, gee wiz! I wonder why.”

Dominik Mysterio has established himself as one of the most prominent stars on WWE RAW’s roster. As the road to WrestleMania begins, Mysterio is determined to reach new heights. During an appearance on Busted Open Radio, he shared his thoughts on his journey up to this point and his future.

“I never thought I’d be at this point in my career—going into my fifth year with the company. I debuted in 2020, even though I’m a 20-year veteran of the game. Technically, I debuted in 2005. It’s been a crazy ride, but I’m happy to be a part of it. Everything happens so fast.”

“Being in the business for so long, running around the ring and being around it, I’ve developed these little habits just from watching everybody. I do have goals that I don’t think WWE necessarily has for me. At the end of the day, I’m going to make them align with my goals, one way or another. I don’t even necessarily know, because it’s a machine, right? These guys are constantly moving so fast that they don’t always tell you what’s going on or what they have planned for you.”

“For me, I want to win singles gold. I don’t necessarily know if they have that in mind for me—especially with all this stuff going on with Liv Morgan, JD McDonagh, Carlito, and Finn Balor. Honestly, I don’t know where their minds are. But one way or another, our plans are going to align because they won’t have a choice but to put a title on me.”
