JD McDonagh Says He’ll Miss A ‘Couple Months’ Due To Injuries Sustained On WWE RAW

JD McDonagh is grateful his injuries aren’t worse than they are.

McDonagh was injured during a tag team title match on Monday night’s episode of RAW. McDonagh performed a moonsault from the ring out to the floor, but accidentally took a hard landing on the commentary table. He smacked his head and back on the front of the table, which immediately drew concern from fans watching at home.

McDonagh made it to the backstage area after The Viking Raiders retained their titles against McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio. However, McDonagh took to Twitter to share just how serious his injuries actually are.

“First off, thanks to everyone for the messages and the concern. I’m good,” McDonagh wrote on Twitter. “I’ve got a couple of broken ribs and a punctured lung, so I’m going to be out for a couple months. All things considered, it could have been a lot worse, so I’m grateful for that.”
