Report: Dakota Kai Diagnosed With Concussion, Pulled From WWE Touring

Dakota Kai is reportedly dealing with an injury.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Kai has been pulled off the road. She was said to be “hurt” on the January 20th episode of WWE RAW. There, she and IYO SKY defeated Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark. Johnson cites one source who said they believed that she may have been hurt on the bump she took on a missile dropkick.

Per Johnson, Kai is not backstage at the WWE RAW taping on January 27th.

Update: Johnson then reported that Dakota Kai has been diagnosed with a concussion, per multiple WWE sources. She will be out of action until she passes WWE’s concussion protocols.

She will be out of the ring until she passes the company concussion protocols.

Kai recently competed in the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament. She made it to the finals, where she lost to Lyra Valkyria. Kai is part of the Damage CTRL stable with Kairi Sane, IYO SKY, and Asuka. Asuka has been sidelined since May due to an injury.
