Recently WWE made history by moving to Netflix. As most people know, Netflix is the largest streaming platform in the world. Former NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio recently shared what his favorite shows are on the Streaming Juggernaut.
While speaking on the Babyfaces Podcast, Dominik Mysterio shared that he is a huge fan of Peaky Blinders. He also shared that recently he has been binge-watching the reality series ‘Love Is Blind.’
“I’m a big Peaky Blinders guy… I love Tommy Shelby… By my hat. But for me, I’ve also… Don’t hate on me now. But I just recently got into Love is Blind. I don’t know what it is, but like the fact that they get crazy and then they all lie to each other and then they meet… It’s like a whole thing dude. I was hooked instantly. Yes yes! [Finally seeing each other in real life and realizing how shallow people are]. It’s great.
“I was waiting for this like one specific couple in season seven. I was like, ‘Oh God, I can’t wait till she sees him.’ Or like, vice-versa. You know? So like, as soon as I saw season seven, I was like, ‘I gotta binge the rest.’ Which I did. But yeah. Those are definitely my top two right now.”
Dominik Mysterio on WWE Raw’s move to Netflix
During the same podcast episode, Dirty Dom opened up about WWE’s move to Netflix. He shared that the roster is very excited about the move. He also mentioned that now people from all over the world can watch Monday Night Raw at any time they want.
“I mean, morale is high. We’re all super-excited to be able to just be on Netflix. Cuz, a lot of us have like families, you know, I have family in Mex ico. Judgment Day has family in Ireland and stuff because of Finn and JD. So, our families struggled to be able to see us. Because, if they don’t have USA, they have to watch it on… For us it’s like Fox Sports. Or… I don’t know what they have to watch in Ireland. But it’s always different here and there. So like, the fact that you can just tune in whether it’s 8:00PM or 5:00PM West Coast, East Coast time. As long as you figure it out overseas and you have Netflix, you can watch it.
“So, the fact that you can watch it all around the world at any point in time. Even if you missed the episode last week, you can just go on there and click it. And they have it all there. So, that’s huge for us. We are in over hundred something million homes. Right? That’s insane. That’s a whole different viewership for us. We’re used to just people tuning in on USA and seeing Monday Night Raw. But now it’s like whoever clicks on Netflix, you are going to see whether it is Cody Rhodes or Bianca or Roman, Liv, Myself… You are going to see wrestling on there and it’s really cool to see/ Because it’s going to catch your attention and people are going to click on to see Monday Night Raw,” Dominik Mysterio said.
