WWE Hall of Famer Alundra Blayze, also known as Madusa, was in attendance at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, and she commented on the experience.
Blayze was one of the legends shown in the crowd on Saturday; “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Dory Funk Jr., Mark Henry, and Ted DiBiase appeared as well.
In a tweet, Alundra Blayze commented on attending the show. She thanked WWE, Triple H, Paul Heyman, and Stephanie McMahon, and she praised the “talented group” of WWE superstars.
Triple H responded and thanked Blayze.
Blayze, a three-time WWE Women’s Champion, has appeared at a few WWE shows in recent years. She appeared at WWE RAW is XXX in January 2023. Blayze has also appeared on NXT.
Alundra Blayze On Infamous WCW Segment
Blayze memorably dropped the WWF Women’s Championship into a trash can on WCW Monday Nitro in 1995. During a previous appearance on the Wrestling Perspective Podcast, Alundra Blayze was asked about the events that immediately followed the on-air segment.
“No they actually — it’s in my book, but anyway, I will tell you this — right after that, I walked right to my dressing room and like 15 seconds later [there was] a knock on my door and I got the belt directly back. They were that good,” Blayze said.
“So far, so good. I mean, Eric and I go back and forth about who called who,” Madusa added. “I say he called me, he says I called him but I tell him, ‘Dude, who gives a shit. It was the biggest part of your career.’ [laughs].”
