Damian Priest has joined WWE SmackDown.
On the January 24th episode of WWE SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis told Carmelo Hayes that he had secured a new acquisition, and he would be facing Hayes later in the show. Aldis subsequently introduced Damian Priest as the newcomer in question, and he welcomed Priest to the show. He also confirmed that Priest would face Hayes on Friday night.
Earlier in the show, Aldis also announced that The Miz had been moved to WWE SmackDown.
Damian Priest’s Recent Run In WWE
In 2024, Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and won the World Heavyweight Championship. He held the title for a few months before Gunther dethroned him at WWE SummerSlam. For the rest of the year, Priest feuded with the Judgment Day and chased the world title. His rivalry with Finn Balor came to a head on the January 13th episode of WWE RAW, where Priest beat Balor in a Street Fight.
