Matthew McConaughey was in the house at WWE SmackDown.
The January 24th episode of WWE SmackDown was held at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, and the WWE stars weren’t the only major names at the show. During the broadcast, Matthew McConaughey was shown in the crowd.
Later in the show, Kevin Owens stared McConaughey down during a promo and took a shot at the Texas Longhorns losing to Ohio State in the College Football Playoffs.
Matthew McConaughey is a known WWE fan, and he previously appeared on WWE’s The Bump. He has had a highly successful career. McConaughey won an Oscar and a Golden Globe Award for his role in Dallas Buyers Club.
Update: Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias was also shown in the crowd, as was Shane Gillis.
