Rhea Ripley could be set to compete in a major match at WWE WrestleMania 41, according to a new report.
Ripley won the WWE Women’s World Championship at the WWE RAW on Netflix premiere. As the road to WrestleMania 41 begins, she is the reigning champion. The fan-favorite may be facing another top star at WrestleMania this year.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that a match between Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley has been discussed for WWE WrestleMania 41. The two stars aligned ahead of WWE Survivor Series in November, as they teamed up for the Women’s WarGames match at the show.
Belair is one-half of the reigning WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions with Naomi. Naomi took the place of Jade Cargill, who has been absent since November.
Both Belair and Ripley have said that they want to face each other in interviews in recent years. While the report stated that this was a tentative plan, the dream match has at least been considered for WWE WrestleMania 41.
Rhea Ripley On Biana Belair
In August 2024, Rhea Ripley said that she wanted to face Belair. She shared her thoughts on “The EST” while speaking with Bill Apter for Sportskeeda WrestleBinge.
“Bianca, look, I love Bianca Belair. I have no beef with Bianca Belair,” Rhea Ripley said. “I think she’s absolutely incredible at what she does. There’s that competitor side of me that wants to step in the ring with her. I want to see who’s gonna come out victorious. I want to see who’s stronger, who’s more agile. She might have me in the agile aspect, but stronger, I don’t know.
“We’re a little bit close. I can’t wait for that day. I feel like it can’t be wasted, I feel like that is such a high-key match that people want to see, and I want to do, and she wants to do. The two faces of WWE 2K24…I think that if we were to step in the ring together again, I think it would have to be WrestleMania-worthy.”
