A new report provides an update on AEW streaming on Max following their new deal with Warner Bros. Discovery.
AEW started to simulcast on Max with AEW Dynamite with the Fight For The Fallen special episode on January 1st. Likewise, Collision began to simulcast on Max on January 4th. The viewership information for the shows on Max has not been available.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that, per WBD sources, the official viewership numbers are kept close to the vest. However, they confirmed that AEW has ranked among the top live sports events on Max since they debuted on the service.
Among others, MLB, NHL, NBA, NCAA Men’s March Madness, and U.S. Soccer events stream on Max.
AEW and WBD signed a new media rights deal in October 2024. It was valued at upwards of $185 million per year.
