Steph De Lander Acquires Digital Media Title via Divorce, Mance Warner Makes TNA Debut

Mance Warner was revealed as the man behind the “23” warning, as Steph De Lander also made her TNA return.

For weeks now, the number 23 has been flashing on screen, cryptically hinting at a wrestler debuting in TNA. However, the mystery was finally solved on this week’s episode of TNA Impact.

The man behind the mystery was discovered to be the debuting Mance Warner. After Sami Callihan complained about the constant teasing of the 23, Steph DeLander returned to the company with the TNA Digital Media Championship in tow.

She claimed she was “23” and got the belt “in the divorce”. Without mentioning him by name, she referenced her previous storyline with PCO, the previous champion. He controversially destroyed the belt with a sledgehammer on the last GCW show. Additionally, this cut his ties with TNA in the process.

She said that now her husband is out the door, she wants to introduce us to her boyfriend, the second part of the 23 reveal. This led to the debut of Mance Warner.

The Southern Psycho” attacked Sami Callihan, before taking the title from Steph De Lander. Additionally, the pair began to make out in the ring, evoking Edge and Lita from days gone by in the WWE.

However, the crowd weren’t overly loud for the lightly-promoted debut. The majority of the fans didn’t seem to know who he was, which was a shame. Despite that, it was an interesting debut nonetheless.

Mance Warner Says He Has Had Discussions With People, Has Heard He’s ‘Made For TV’

Former GCW World Champion Mance Warner says people have told him that he’s made for TV.

Speaking with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Mance Warner commented on his run with GCW.

“I told you what I was going to do. I was going to go this company, be there all the time, take this title, and be the man. And I’ve delivered. I will continue to defend this title and do what Mancer does nonstop. Now, also, here’s a little sidenote. I’ve heard for the past year, since I’ve been doing that I’ve been doing, ‘Oh, Mancer, you’re made for TV. You’re made for TV.’

“I’ve had discussions with people, and like I told you, this is a business. It’s about [money]. So if I’m made for TV, what TV will it be? It’s about [money] and this [title], and no one’s gonna take this sh*t from me.”
