Leila Grey picked up her first win of 2025, and now she has her sights on gold.
Grey won her match on Thursday’s episode of Ring Of Honor. Following her victory, Lexy Nair interviewed Grey backstage. During the interview, Grey mentioned that this year is going to be the year she captures championships. She then issued a challenge to the current ROH Women’s World TV Champion Red Velvet. Grey asked Velvet to put her title on the line next week on ROH TV.
“Yes! First win of 2025. Did you see that Lexy [Nair]? Sorry, I am just excited. But I told you Lexy, new year, new me! I am coming out guns blazing. And I expect many more wins for me this year including some championship gold. And speaking of gold, I think it’s time that I challenge for something real. You know what I want? I want the ROH Women’s Television Championship. Red Velvet, I see you holding that. But I think it’s time for a real baddie to take the stand. So, what do you say? Next week, you and me for your Women’s TV Title. Spoiler alert, I’m taking that title from you. Get it? Got it? Good,” Leila Grey said.
The match has now been made official for next week. Red Velvet will defend her Ring of Honor Women’s World TV Title against Leila Grey.
Adding to this, the Men’s ROH World TV Champion Komander will be putting his title on the line against Lee Johnson next week as well.
