Bron Breakker has included CM Punk on a list of wrestlers he’d have backing him up in a bar far.
The WWE Intercontinental Champion has been impressive in his first years on the main roster. He is a two-time Intercontinental Champion and has put on amazing matches with wrestlers like Ilja Dragunov and Jey Uso.
Bron Breakker spoke with the No-Contest Wrestling Podcast and was asked which wrestlers he’d pick to have his back in a bar fight.
CM Punk previously named Breakker as somebody he’d like in his “team”, and the Intercontinental Champion returned the favor. Breakker also named Tony D’Angelo, and Julius and Brutus Creed, who currently team with Chad Gable on the main roster as “American Made”.
“I feel like the Creed Brothers—those two—and Tony D’Angelo. Tony D’s in NXT, but he’s a Division One All-American. CM Punk’s fought in the UFC, so he’d probably be my fourth. I mean, there’s a lot, man. There are so many dudes I’d like to have in my squad. We’ve got some dogs on our roster.”
Bron Breakker Says He’ll Be The Biggest WWE Star On Netflix In 2025
On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, Bron Breakker successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship against Ludwig Kaiser. Now looking ahead to 2025, Breakker vows to do the same to anyone else bold enough to step up to him.
“Tonight, I finally put an end to that absolute cockroach of a sewer rat that is Ludwig Kaiser, once and for all,” Breakker said in a WWE digital exclusive. “I knew exactly every angle that he was coming from. He’s going to try to steal this championship from me, but I’m Bron Breakker, the Intercontinental Champion. I knew I wasn’t going to let that happen.
“As far as 2025 goes, Raw is going to Netflix and nobody is taking this championship from me as far as I’m concerned, whether it’s a young buck or whether it’s a member of the 40s and up club. It does not matter, because I’m going to prove that 2025 is going to be the year of Bron Breakker. I’m going to be the biggest star on Netflix because the dogs are barking in 2025. Hoo hoo hoo!”
