Tessa Blanchard is a controversial figure in the world of wrestling, but according to WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray, she is thriving in the ring.
Former TNA World Champion Tessa Blanchard returned to TNA at TNA Final Resolution. She then made a statement in her in-ring return at TNA Genesis, as she beat Jordynne Grace.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray said that he was impressed with Blanchard’s performance at TNA Genesis. (H/t Wrestling Inc.)
“I’m analyzing Tessa Blanchard the pro wrestler right now, not the human being, and what I saw from Tessa and Jordynne was very, very good,” Ray said. “Tessa Blanchard has as good command of her own athletic ability as Charlotte Flair.”
Tessa Blanchard On TNA Working With WWE
Blanchard recently shared her thoughts on TNA’s partnership with TNA. Speaking with Dominic DeAngelo for SEScoops, she commented on the announcement.
“Stephanie Vacquer and I, we have a history in CMLL over in Mexico,” she said. “We’ve had some banger matches out there. So her and I were actually chatting and we’re like, ‘Hmm, maybe we’ll get to see each other in the ring again one day,’ and I know that would be just a treat.”
“It’s something special. I think it’s something that no one could have expected. It’s something that people have been talking about, but now it’s in ink. Now it’s out there for the whole world to see and it’s a huge blessing for both companies because just like NXT is filled with such amazing talent and leadership, TNA is as well.”
