Diamond Dallas Page Attends WWE NXT

DDP was at WWE NXT on January 21st.

WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page was shown in the crowd during the January 21st episode of WWE NXT. He appeared ahead of the NXT Championship match between Oba Femi and Eddy Thorpe.

Page was one of WCW’s top stars for years, and he won the world title three times there. He also held the WCW United States Championship and the WCW Tag Team Championship, among other accolades. Page had a less successful run in the WWE, but he held the European Championship and the Tag Team Championship. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017. Page signed a WWE Legends Deal after attending WWE Bad Blood.

Diamond Dallas Page On Working With WWE

DDP previously commented on working with WWE again in an interview with Bleacher Report. He stated that he was proud to be working with the company.

“I’m proud to be working with them again,” Diamond Dallas Page said. “I never wanted to go anywhere the first time, but I had to help the kid whose father helped me. Without Dusty Rhodes there is no Diamond Dallas Page. I had to help that young man who was on his own vision quest. He didn’t ask for my help, I just came to him and said, ‘Hey, let us start filming you. Let’s start doing stuff. Costs you nothing. Let us just start documenting your journey here.’

“And where did it end up? Right back in the WWE, bigger than ever, on the cover of 2K24. You can’t make this stuff up.”
