The January 20th episode of WWE RAW was held at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
Among other matches, Seth Rollins faced Drew McIntyre, and Damage CTRL faced Pure Fusion Collective.
WWE RAW Results
The results are as follows:
- Nia Jax attacked WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley.
- Jey Uso cut a promo about his world title match against Gunther at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Gunther interrupted, and they went back and forth. Uso gained the upper hand when they brawled.
- Backstage, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods bumped into JBL, who said that Big E had all the charisma in the New Day. It was noted that the scheduled tag team match would instead be Kingston and Rey Mysterio.
- In an interview, Bayley discussed returning to WWE RAW and declared for the Royal Rumble. Nia Jax interrupted and vowed to win the Royal Rumble.
- Rey Mysterio def. Kofi Kingston (with Xavier Woods)
- Xavier Woods attacked Mysterio, and LWO tried to make the save, but New Day stood tall.
- In an interview, Chad Gable explains that Dominik Mysterio will help him deal with Penta, while the Creed Brothers will target the tag titles, and Ivy Nile will focus on the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
- Sami Zayn cuts a promo and declares for the Royal Rumble. Kevin Owens interrupts and says he believes that Zayn will win. He says that he thinks Zayn has his back, and they could main-event WrestleMania together.
- In a promo, Sheamus discusses his match with Bron Breakker at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. Breakker interrupts and tells Sheamus he should retire.
- Nia Jax def. Bayley
- NXT’s Roxanne Perez was in the crowd, but she got ejected from ringside after getting physical with Bayley. Rhea Ripley came out and brawled with Jax before challenging her to a match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
- A vignette highlighted WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria.
- Backstage, Chad Gable spoke with Dominik Mysterio about the “dark art” of lucha libre while tensions between Dominik and Liv Morgan are still apparent.
- Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn spoke about the Royal Rumble backstage.
- Penta def. Pete Dunne
- A vignette highlighted Logan Paul ahead of his appearance on RAW next week.
- In an interview, CM Punk discussed the Royal Rumble and took a shot at Hulk Hogan, joking that he would eliminate him from the match and kill Hulkamania.
- Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai & IYO SKY) def. Pure Fusion Collective (Shayna Basler & Zoey Stark) (with Sonya Deville)
- Seth Rollins def. Drew McIntyre
- McIntyre attacked Rollins after the match. Sami Zayn tried to make the save, but McIntyre fought him off. Zayn accidentally hit Rollins with a Helluva Kick.
