The Undertaker Reveals the Original Plans He Had at the WWE Raw Netflix Debut

WWE made history on January 6 as RAW made its debut on Netflix. One of the key matches of the night was the match between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Heavyweight Championship. Ripley finally got her revenge on Morgan and reclaimed the World title. Following the match, The Undertaker appeared and shared a moment with The Eradicator.

While speaking on the latest episode of the Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker mentioned that he was initially set out to do an interview but then plans changed. He also shared that when this idea was pitched he thought it would be like stepping on Ripley’s moment but the way it was executed, it felt more like giving Mami the ‘OG Rub.’

“Originally, I was going to do an entrance and an interview, which would have been fine. They had somebody that was going to interview me, and then they just thought that that would make that, that whole thing, even bigger for her,” The Undertaker said. I don’t want to take away, I don’t want to step on any part of that.’ I mean, this is the payoff to a very long storyline. I said, ‘I sure don’t want to come out and step on her moment.’

“They basically explained, ‘She’s gonna have a moment in the ring. She’s gonna have this moment where you two will cross paths.’ I was like, ‘Okay, well, now, if it’s like that, it’s pretty cool.’ Not that our characters are similar, but they are a little bit,” he added. “It was just like me dabbing her up there a little bit, and good job, and giving her that OG rub.”
