Joe Hendry Comments On TNA Title Win At Genesis

Joe Hendry wants to make TNA even bigger after becoming their world champion.

Last night at TNA Genesis, Hendry finally became the TNA World Heavyweight Champion for the first time. Despite interference from numerous wrestlers, including JBL for more unknown reasons, he pinned Nic Nemeth to win his first world title in the American promotion.

After winning the TNA World Championship at Genesis, Joe Hendry grabbed a microphone and spoke directly to the crowd. He called it an “honor and a privilege” to wrestle for TNA, and thanked the locker room for helping him achieve his dreams. Joe Hendry added that he thinks TNA will be pushed to a new level in 2025, and that they have “so much more to go”.

Joe Hendry: TNA Will Get To A New Level In 2025

“You are the lifeblood of TNA Wrestling.” Joe Hendry told the fans. “You’ve watched the growth of this company, and the awesome thing about it is that we’re all doing it together. I want you all to know I am so proud to be part of this locker room. It is the greatest honor and privilege to share a locker room with the individuals in the back.”

“You have no idea how many of them have gone out of their way to help me get to where I wanted to go — to selflessly give me the help, the advice, the guidance, the mentorship. None of this happens without the colleagues and staff in the back.”

“We’re all here for the same reason — because we have a love and a passion for professional wrestling. And the next order of business is for me to talk to Santino, because my friends, we are just getting started. This title reign? I’m going to give every ounce of my being to make sure every single one of you is still chanting, ‘We believe!’”

“It’s because of you that we’re living our dream in the back, but we’ve got so much more to go. Are you ready to push TNA Wrestling to a new level in 2025? Who here is going to be at the Texas shows next week? I want to see each and every one of you. But the thing I want most is for every single person in Texas to chant at the top of their lungs, ‘TNA!’ Let the world hear it. Thank you. This has been an honor and a privilege, and we can’t wait to see you soon.”
