Bully Ray Explains His One Concern Regarding The TNA and WWE Partnership

It was recently announced that WWE and TNA have signed a new deal to partner with each other. While this was appreciated by both the TNA and WWE rosters, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray seems to have some concerns regarding the partnership.

While speaking on a recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast, Bully Ray mentioned that he is concerned about how WWE will do business with TNA in this partnership. He wonders if WWE will be involved in TNA Wrestling’s creative process too much or just straight up takeover their creative process completely.

“My concern, if I have to look at this from the other side, is will the WWE allow TNA to do business their way? Will they just say, ‘Listen TNA, you run your creative the way you want to run it.’ Because one of my concerns when we had the conversation a year ago, is that when we first saw the relationship was if the WWE were ever to buy TNA or be involved with it too much, would their creative now just take over TNA’s creative?” [H/T Wrestling Inc.]

Bully Ray also mentioned that he wishes to see TNA Wrestling continue to do business their own way and WWE allows them to do so.

“I hope to continue to see [TNA] do their things on their own. Then if WWE goes, ‘Hey, this girl Jordynne Grace, she looks amazing. She’s doing great in the ring. We’d like to bring her in for the Royal Rumble. Oh, by the way, she did great at the Rumble. We’d like to continue to use her,’ blah, blah, blah, that [is a] working relationship with that.” Bully Ray said.
