The partnership between TNA and WWE was on full display at TNA Genesis, as multiple NXT stars appeared.
During the pre-show, NXT liaison Arianna Grace came to the stage and took credit for facilitating the relationship between WWE and TNA. She then teased that a lot of her besties were at the show.
NXT’s Ashante “Thee” Adonis then came out and addressed the crowd. After taking at the Dallas Cowboys, he issued an open challenge, which Jake Something accepted.
Something went on to score the win with a spinning sidewalk slam.
WWE and TNA officially announced a multi-year partnership on January 16th, and NXT was advertised as being part of TNA Genesis.
