CM Punk Attends UFC 311, Meets Up With Belal Muhammad

WWE star CM Punk was in attendance at UFC 311 on January 18th.

Punk previously had an infamous stint in the UFC. He signed with UFC in 2014 and lost to Mickey Gall in his debut at UFC 203. His fight against Mike Jackson at UFC 225 was initially a unanimous decision victory for Jackson, but it was later overturned, as Jackson tested positive for marijuana. Punk retired from UFC in 2021, as he returned to wrestling.

At UFC 311, Punk was shown on-camera at the show, and he did his “Go to Sleep” taunt.

TKO then shared a clip in which Punk met up with UFC Welterweight Champion. Belal Muhammad. WWE’s Cathy Kelley was also in the clip.

Dana White On CM Punk

UFC CEO Dana White previously commented on CM Punk in an interview with Sports Illustrated. He noted that he texted Punk after his return at WWE Survivor Series 2023.

“I texted him that night after he walked out in Chicago … It was amazing,” he said. “I texted and congratulated him, it was incredible. I’ve had nothing but a great relationship with him since the day we met. He’s a super nice guy. He’s one of the easiest people I’ve ever dealt with. Everybody that he trained with [in MMA] and everybody around him in his camp respected him … that spoke volumes. Do I give my blessing? 100%. I love the guy.”
