SEAdLINNNG crowned VENY as the new Beyond the Sea Single Champion on their January 17 show in Shinkiba 1st Ring.
VENY and Sareee threw out all the stops in their championship match. The battle began with a brief technical exchange before both women brawled on the outside. Sareee made use of her technical ability to wrestle the challenger down, but VENY used a combination of her powerhouse and high-flying styles to counterattack.
After kicking out of multiple uranages and delivering a Tiger Suplex, VENY picked up the pinfall victory to win the belt. She officially enters her second reign as Beyond the Sea Single Champion. On the other hand, Sareee closed in on a historic 511-day reign, becoming the longest reigning Beyond the Sea Single Champion.
Some time after the event, Sareee addressed the loss on her official Twitter. She applauded the new champion for being strong as she promises to come back stronger. Despite losing both her titles in Marigold and SEAdLINNNG just this month, Sareee still holds the Sukeban World Championship.
VENY jokingly responded to Sareee’s tweet, asking her not to come for the championship anymore.
As a freelancer, VENY will compete for the Marvelous promotion for their January 19 show in Oyama. There, she will team up with Itsuki Aoki against Mio Momono and Yurika Oka in the main event.
