Ethan Page achieved a lifelong dream by working with The Rock on NXT.
In a backstage segment at NXT New Year’s Evil, Page spoke with “The Final Boss”. The Rock said it was good to meet Page, but that he hadn’t heard all good things about the former NXT Champion. He warned that “payback is gonna be a bitch” after hearing all the misdeeds Page has done in NXT. The Rock offered Ethan Page help if he needed it, and he told him that he’d see him on the main roster one day.
Ethan Page recently appeared on Busted Open Radio, where he talked about sharing the screen with The Rock. The former NXT Champion revealed that it was his number one goal in wrestling, and he was thrilled to have checked that off his list.
“I’ll tell you exactly how I felt—I literally told him, too,” Page said. “I started wrestling when I was 16 years old, and I always envisioned Ethan Page on screen with The Rock. That was my ultimate goal, number one on my bucket list. I skipped an entire line of goals to reach my top goal and checked it off.
“I got to tell him face-to-face that I accomplished it. On top of that, I showed him what I bring to the table and how talented I am. At the end of the day, that’s the man who’s in charge of the future of my career.”
Ethan Page On Getting Slapped On The Ass By The Rock
However, Ethan Page had very little to say about getting his butt slapped by The Rock on NXT.
“How does it feel getting slapped by another man on the ass?” Ethan Page said. “I don’t know. Do you want me to slap you on the ass so you can tell me?”.
He then took Bully Ray’s question sheet and ripped it apart in front of him. He laughed uncontrollably as Bully Ray desperately tried to continue the interview but to no avail.
