Cope vs. PAC Announced For 1/22 AEW Dynamite

Cope will be in action on the January 22nd episode of AEW Dynamite.

During AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage, the broadcast team announced that Cope (Adam Copeland) will face PAC in a singles match on the January 22nd episode. Cope is coming off a win against Big Bill on the January 11th episode of AEW Dynamite. He has been feuding with AEW World Champion Jon Moxley and The Death Riders, including PAC, since he returned from injury at AEW Worlds End.

As of this writing, the announced card for the January 22nd episode of AEW Dynamite is as follows:

  • Cope vs. PAC

WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs on January 22nd.

Cope On Jon Moxley

Cope has made it clear that he wants to face Jon Moxley. In an interview with Rick Ucchino for The Takedown on SI, Cope shared his thoughts on the potential match.

“I think this’ll be uglier in all the ways that I love,” he said. “[Moxley] reminds me a little bit of Terry Funk. He’s got a little Roddy Piper to him. He’s got that throwback feel, but with a modern take. And that to me is really exciting.

“I’d love to just get in there and just have it be a gnarly fight. A hard-hitting heavyweight match between two dudes who are over 230 pounds and are just gonna take each other’s heads off. That sounds like a good night.”
