Two title matches have been confirmed for the January 21st episode of WWE NXT.
At NXT New Year’s Evil, Oba Femi won the NXT Championship by defeating Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe. Femi discussed his win on the January 14th episode of NXT. Tony D’Angelo interrupted him, and D’Angelo got into a brawl with Ridge Holland. Thorpe then attacked Femi from behind.
Backstage, Femi demanded a match with Thorpe. The broadcast team confirmed that Femi would defend the NXT Championship against Eddy Thorpe on the January 14th episode of NXT.
Plus, Tony D’Angelo will defend the NXT North American Championship against Ridge Holland. Holland and D’Angelo brawled on Tuesday night, and they also fought in the parking lot later in the show.
The announced card is as follows:
- NXT Championship: Oba Femi (c) vs. Eddy Thorpe
- NXT North American Championship: Tony D’Angelo (c) vs. Ridge Holland
