Fallon Henley will defend the gold on the January 28th episode of WWE NXT.
On the January 7th episode of WWE NXT, Stephanie Vaquer beat Kelani Jordan, Cora Jade, and Lola Vice in a Number One Contender’s Match for the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Elsewhere on the show, Shotzi pinned reigning champion Fallon Henley in a six-woman tag team match. Ava then booked a singles match between Shotzi and Vaquer to determine who would challenge for the gold.
Stephanie Vaquer then faced Shotzi on the January 14th episode of WWE NXT. They battled back and forth early on. Vaquer gained the upper hand, but Shotzi rallied. Shotzi suplexed Vaquer for a two-count. Vaquer fired up with a flurry of offense. Jacy Jayne came to ringside and got on the apron, but Vaquer and Shotzi double-teamed her. With the referee distracted, Henley hit Vaquer with the title, and Shotzi pinned her for the win.
With the win, x earned a shot at the NXT Women’s North American Championship. She will challenge Fallon Henley for the gold on the January 28th episode of NXT, which will be held at Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia.
