O’Shea Jackson Jr. is one of many people who told Hulk Hogan how they felt about seeing him on WWE RAW last week.
Hogan appeared on the Netflix premiere of RAW, but the WWE legend was met with a chorus of boos. O’Shea Jackson Jr., actor and host of the No-Contest Wrestling podcast, was also at the show in Los Angeles. He was recently on Sway’s Universe, who asked about Hogan getting booed being a huge story. Jackson readily admitted he was one of Hogan’s hecklers in the crowd at the Intuit Dome.
“I was one of them, I’ll show you the video,” Jackson said. “Me, Eric Andre and Wale was givin’ it to him!”
When asked why they booed Hogan, Jackson said it’s hard to forget Hogan’s racist remarks that still follow him. A Hulk Hogan sex tape leaked in 2015, and part of the footage (recorded in 2007) featured Hogan complaining about the idea of his daughter dating a Black man. Hogan said the word “n*gger” multiple times and admitted to being “racist, to a point.”

“The n*gga hatin’. The racism, it’s just hard to forget how detailed that rant was,” O’Shea Jackson Jr. explained. “And if you look up his rant, it’s very detailed. And I get a lot of people online [saying] ‘Oh well, he would be mad if he found out about [the issues /scandals involving] that whole generation.’ Yeah, well when I find out, I’ll be mad.
“But right now, bringing [Hogan] out here, what did you think was going to happen? And LA, when we heard the music, it was like, ‘Oh, no, no… hold on!’ And they let him have it,” he continued. “That’s a pivotal moment in wrestling history and I’m glad I was part of it. I was able to show off the logo for Den of Thieves 2: Pantera out January 10.”
Mark Henry also said he was not surprised Hogan was booed. Henry shared that Hogan didn’t do himself any favors by making no effort to fix things in hopes the scandal would go away. Hulk Hogan has not publicly commented on the icy RAW reception. However, he was reportedly “surprised and disappointed” by how fans reacted to him.
