Chelsea Green Will ‘Never Say Never’ To Rematch Against Penta

Could we see Chelsea Green vs. Penta in WWE? Chelsea wouldn’t say no to a rematch.

While WWE may be a new home for Penta, its locker room is filled with several familiar faces, including that of Chelsea Green. Back when Green wrestled under the name Reklusa, she and Penta faced off in Lucha Underground, with footage of their match (taped 2018) recently resurfacing on social media. Penta, then known as Pentagon Dark, emerged victorious on this occasion. Despite that, Green tells Cultaholic that she is open to running it back.

“Well look, never say never as Justin Bieber once said. Never say never,” Green said when asked about a potential rematch. “However, that was one of the craziest matches I’ve ever had in my whole entire life. I owe everything to Penta for that match. He, seriously, held my hand and wrestled me through that 15-minute match.

“The fact that it just keeps coming up and going viral again is really cool, because at the time it was a big deal. At the time, I really felt proud of it, but then we move on, the next week hits and we watch the next show and we’re onto the next move. It’s really interesting to see it kind of keep popping up and making a resurgence. Now that Penta’s with WWE I can’t wait to beat him up.”

This week, Penta made his WWE in-ring debut against American Made’s Chad Gable on WWE Raw. The two battled for over 13 minutes, with Penta gaining the win, courtesy of a Penta Driver. Meanwhile, Green successfully defended her Women’s United States Championship against Michin on WWE SmackDown.

In addition to Penta’s RAW debut, multiple competitors confirmed they will enter the 2025 Royal Rumble. Finn Balor and Damian Priest also ended their feud in a street fight. Check out everything that went down on WWE RAW here.
