R-Truth and Pacman Jones have teased reuniting, nearly two decades after their tag team championship run together.
The former NFL star made a shocking series of appearances in TNA back in 2007. He formed a tag team with R-Truth, then known as Ron “The Truth” Killings. The pair were very successful, beating Kurt Angle and Sting to become the World Tag Team Champions at TNA No Surrender.
This was despite Pacman Jones being unable to do anything physical due to his deal with the Tennessee Titans, although he did make the pinfall to win the match. The duo were known as Team Pacman and the pair teased a return in a recent podcast interview.
R-Truth appeared on The Pacman Jones Show and teased a reunion between himself and Pacman Jones in the ring.
They were asked if the team could reunite again in WWE, to which R-Truth said that anything is possible and you never know.
“Dog, you never know. This universe is made, man. Everything—like, let’s say, what repeats itself—you never know. But in the business, I mean, dog, any and everything is possible. We already talked about doing some music together…”
Pacman Jones then interrupted R-Truth to say;
“If we have to pay to do that again, we will. And we’ll get the people to pay for us to do it. Because last time, I didn’t get to hit anybody. This time, I want to smack the shit out of somebody, hit someone with a chair, maybe even jump off the top rope and crash through a table. I’m just saying!”
