Drew McIntyre wants to win the Royal Rumble but his focus in getting revenge on the OG Bloodline.
On Raw’s debut on Netflix last week, McIntyre suffered a shock defeat to Jimmy Uso. He was rolled up by the OG Bloodline member, although that did not signal the end for the Scotman’s quest for revenge against the group.
Drew McIntyre recently appeared on The Babyfaces Podcast. The former WWE Champion revealed that his goal is to win the Royal Rumble, although his focus is still on taking out the members of the OG Bloodline for what they’ve done over the past three years.
He added that he will win the Rumble and pick his champion to face at WrestleMania, but Drew McIntyre can focus on the OG Bloodline between those two events.
Drew McIntyre On His Goals
“That’s the ultimate goal—get the title and hold it for as long as I possibly can. But right now, I have very specific goals. I’ve mentioned before that my immediate focus isn’t on the titles. Sure, if I win the Rumble, I can pick whichever champion I want. But that’s not a priority right now. Maybe I’ll decide on WrestleMania night.” Drew McIntyre said.
“Right now, my focus is on taking out the people who have wronged me, starting with the members of the OG Bloodline. I’ve made it very clear who I’m targeting. What happened on Raw last week? Look, LA got a quick roll-up. Sure, I was distracted, but let’s be real—I’ve beaten him ten times on TV before he managed to get me once with a fluke win. Does that make him better than me? No. Does it mean I just let it go? After everything he’s done to me and my family? Absolutely not.”
“I’m going to target him, and I’m going to target his family. That’s my priority right now. I’ll win the Rumble—I know I’ve got the match at Mania—and I’ll keep taking out whoever I want, doing whatever I feel like doing, and saying whatever I feel like saying. Then, I’ll win the title.” added Drew McIntyre.
