Jeff Hardy Says Current TNA Title Run Means Everything To Him, Wants WWE Hall Of Fame Induction To End Career

Jeff Hardy wants a WWE Hall of Fame induction to end his career, following his tag team title run in TNA.

The former WWE Champion returned to TNA last year after being released by WWE. Alongside his brother Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy won the TNA World Tag Team Championships last year. This is despite being at the ripe old age of 47.

Jeff Hardy recently appeared on The Wrestle Spot. He was asked about his current run as the TNA World Tag Team Champion. The TNA star said that this current run means everything to him, given all his failures and issues with drugs over the years.

He added that his dream would be to end his career with an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame. Jeff Hardy was offered the chance to go in before signing with AEW in 2022. He will likely be given his spot in the Hall of Fame when he eventually retires.

Jeff Hardy On TNA Title Run And WWE Hall Of Fame

“This World title run means everything to me. “Jeff Hardy said. “Because I came close to ending it all in the summer of 2022, which is all public. People are aware of my issues throughout the years with drugs and alcohol, but coming out the other side of that… I’ve been saying a lot lately that all these failures have led me to salvation. Just to be on the other side of that—I get goosebumps thinking about it.” Jeff Hardy said.

“Being 47 years old and a champion in TNA, back in the company where I’ve had so many amazing moments and memories, it just means everything to me and my family. The support of my family—my wife and my daughters—oh my God, if they would have given up on me, I would have totally given up on myself. They are my world. I owe them everything.”

“I owe so much to pro wrestling in general because it has given me such an amazing life. But yeah, overall, this championship run might end up being the most important of my career, just because I’ve survived so many struggles over the years. I’m still ashamed and feel so much guilt, but I know I need to get past that and just believe in myself. I need to stay on the path I’m on, and man, anything is possible for Jeff Hardy moving forward.”

“Who knows? Hopefully, the perfect ending to my career would be to end up in the WWE Hall of Fame. Going out on a high note instead of a depressing low—that’s what I feel like is going to happen.” Jeff Hardy added.
