MVP is set to make his in-ring AEW debut next week, as he and the rest of The Hurt Syndicate have been added to the card for AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage.
The trios group comprising of Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley, and MVP will face off against the reigning AEW Tag Team Champions Private Party, as well as Mark Briscoe, who is teaming up with the group for a Trios match.
The match came together after The Hurt Syndicate interrupted Private Party during a celebration on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, with MVP starting up a toast for Lashley and Shelton, who MVP said would be the future AEW Tag Team Champions.
After the match, Lashley competed in a match against Briscoe, in which he won. The Trios match was then later confirmed on Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision, adding to an already stacked card for Wednesday’s Dynamite.
