Bayley has earned a shot at the WWE Women’s Championship. The former champion will challenge Tiffany Stratton for the gold on WWE SmackDown.
Bayley beat Naomi, Bianca Belair, and former WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax in a four-way match on the January 10 episode to earn a shot at the title. The match came to an end after Candice LeRae got involved. LeRae grabbed Belair as she was going for the KOD. After Bianca accidentally hit Naomi with her braid, Jax then took Belair out of the ring.
Inside the ring, Bayley capitalized, as she hit a Roseplant on Naomi and pinned her after Jax and Belair’s brawl sent them both over the announcer’s table. With the win, Bayley will challenge Tiffany Stratton for the title. The match was then confirmed for the January 17 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Stratton won the gold by cashing in on Nia Jax on the January 3 episode.
