Roman Reigns Declares For WWE Royal Rumble Match

Roman Reigns has declared for the Royal Rumble match, and he wants to face Cody Rhodes if he wins.

On the WWE RAW on Netflix premiere, Roman Reigns defeated Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat Match to win the Ula Fala back. Having won his feud with Sikoa, Reigns was ready to move forward.

Paul Heyman kicked off the January 10 episode of WWE SmackDown and commented on Roman Reigns’ win. He called out Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes to tell him what Reigns planned to do next. Heyman said that Rhodes had earned Reigns’ respect. He then stated that Reigns wanted his title back, so he was declaring for the Royal Rumble match. He made it clear that Reigns intended to challenge Rhodes for the title at WWE WrestleMania 41 if he won.

CM Punk and John Cena have also declared for the Royal Rumble match.

Reigns previously won the Royal Rumble match in 2015. He has not competed in the match since 2020. Over the next few years, he defended his Universal Championship/Undisputed WWE Universal Championship throughout his lengthy title reign.
