Wade Barrett has joined Joe Tessitore in his move to WWE SmackDown.
Joe Tessitore debuted on the September 2 episode of WWE RAW, and he called the action with Wade Barrett. Pat McAfee and Michael Cole returned to WWE RAW for the Netflix premiere, and they will be the broadcast team for the show moving forward. Triple H had confirmed that Joe Tessitore would move to WWE SmackDown, but Barrett’s status was not official.
On the January 10 episode of WWE SmackDown, Wade Barrett joined Joe Tessitore, so they will be the show’s commentary team going forward.
Barrett previously moved to SmackDown in October 2022. He shifted over to RAW in August 2023. Barrett then returned to SmackDown in February 2024 before he went back to RAW in September.
