WWE NXT Draws Nearly One Million Viewers With NXT New Year’s Evil Special

WWE NXT drew its highest total viewership in five years with the NXT New Year’s Evil special.

Wrestlenomics (via Variety) reports that 957,000 viewers tuned in on Tuesday. This marks NXT’s highest total viewership since September 25th, 2019. NXT did not air live in the Los Angeles market due to news coverage of the fires in the area.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, NXT drew a 0.25 rating, which is NXT’s highest number since the CW Network premiere on October 1st, 2024.

The December 31st episode of NXT drew 626,000 viewers and a 0.15 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic.

Tuesday’s episode of NXT was the NXT New Year’s Evil special. It featured multiple title matches, including Giulia challenging Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship. Plus, Trick Williams defended the NXT Championship against Oba Femi, and Lexis King faced Charlie Dempsey in a Heritage Cup Match. The Rock also made a special appearance on the show.
