Giulia Wins NXT Women’s Title At WWE NXT New Year’s Evil

Giulia won the gold at WWE NXT New Year’s Evil.

At WWE NXT New Year’s Evil, Giulia challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship. She earned a title shot by winning the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge match at NXT Deadline.

Perez and Giulia battled back and forth in a rematch of their bout at the NXT on CW Network premiere, where “The Prodigy” emerged victorious. Late in the match, Cora Jade got involved and tried to help Perez win the match. She led Perez back into the ring to avoid a count-out loss. Jade was later ejected from ringside.

In the closing moments, Perez hit Pop Rox, but the challenger kicked out. Giulia rallied and hit Perez with a knee to the face. She then hit Perez with the Northern Lights Bomb for the win. In doing so, she won the title and captured her first title in WWE.

Roxanne Perez won the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Stand & Deliver 2024, where she defeated Lyra Valkyria. She held the title for 276 days.

Giulia is a former NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion. She also held multiple titles in STARDOM, including the Wonder of STARDOM Championship and the World of STARDOM Championship. Giulia made her WWE debut at NXT No Mercy in September 2024.
