WWE Hall of Famer Sean Waltman, also known as X-Pac, says AEW’s Kenny Omega helped him when he was dealing with diverticulitis.
At the WWE RAW on Netflix premiere, Sean Waltman spoke with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture and noted that he had been diagnosed with diverticulitis last year.
“Earlier last year, I was in the hospital for eight days with diverticulitis,” Waltman said. “It almost killed me. After that, I lost a bunch of weight, like 30 pounds. So I decided I’m going to take everything a little more serious and get off my ass. I’ve been training every day.
“I feel great. [The recovery] was tough. It took a while to feel better. But now I’m feeling good. It came back a little bit, but as soon as I noticed it, I was in the hospital right away. All that to say, I’m doing great now. But I had a rough time.”
Salcedo brought up AEW star Kenny Omega, who dealt with a severe case of diverticulitis, and Waltman noted that Omega helped him.
“He helped me with it,” Waltman said. “I was in the hospital, texting with him, and he’s telling me what’s going on and what I should expect and everything. He’s great.
