AEW Collision Viewership Drops With First Simulcast On Max Against NFL Game

AEW Collision viewership dropped on January 4th.

Wrestlenomics (via Programming Insider) reports that AEW Collision averaged 345,000 viewers and a 0.09 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic on Saturday. These numbers are down from the previous episode (635,000 viewers, 0.20 rating) on December 21st. No episode of AEW Collision aired on December 28th due to AEW Worlds End.

These viewership numbers do not include viewing on Max; Collision was simulcast on Max and TNT on Saturday.

AEW Collision ranked #3 on cable in the 18-to-49 demographic on Saturday. The show was up against the NFL game between the Bengals and the Steelers on ABC and ESPN, which drew a combined 21,971,000 viewers and a 5.15 P18-49 rating.

The January 4th episode of AEW Collision was headlined by Rated FTR facing The Learning Tree. Elsewhere on the show, Toni Storm took on Deonna Purrazzo. Collision also featured two title matches. Private Party defended the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Action Andretti and Lio Rush. Plus, Daniel Garcia defended the TNT Championship against Mark Briscoe.
