Tiffany Stratton Highlights The Moment When Her WWE Women’s Title Victory Sunk In

Tiffany Stratton felt all the glory last week.

Last Friday, Tiffany Stratton shocked the world, including Nia Jax, when she officially cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase on WWE SmackDown. Initially, Stratton struck Naomi with the briefcase to help Jax retain the WWE Women’s Championship. Moments after Jax’s win, however, Stratton blindsided her with the briefcase as well, paving the way for Bianca Belair to follow up with a KOD and Stratton to capitalize.

In a new interview with Denise Salcedo, Stratton recalled the thoughts running through her head in the crowning moment.

“I felt like through the whole process, whenever I was out there, I felt like I was just on autopilot,” Stratton said. “Then when I hit my moonsault finally, I really could relish in that moment. I felt like that’s when everything hit me, all my hard work in the past three years. Standing on that table and holding the title, it felt so amazing. Then Vanessa Hudgens was three feet in front of me and that felt even more amazing.”

As Stratton alluded to, actress Vanessa Hudgens attended the respective episode of SmackDown, notably sitting behind the commentary desk on which Stratton celebrated her victory. Stratton has previously cited High School Musical, in which Hudgens starred as Gabriella Montez, as one of her favorite franchises and character influences.

With Stratton’s successful cash-in, Nia Jax’s WWE Women’s Championship reign came to an end at 153 days. Prior to this title win, Stratton also served as the NXT Women’s Champion for 107 days.
