Paul Heyman claims that Roman Reigns deserves an Emmy. The Tribal Chief starred in a victory over Solo Sikoa on Raw’s debut on Netflix.
Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns spoke at the Monday Night Raw on Netflix Premiere Post-Show. They were asked what to expect from Roman Reigns in 2025.
He explained that instead, Roman Reigns expects support from everybody else. Paul Heyman goes on to say that Roman Reigns, WWE, Triple H and himself all deserve Emmys, based on the work of Roman Reigns since COVID.
“Well, it’s really not about what people should expect from Roman Reigns. It’s about what Roman Reigns and the Wise Man should expect from everyone else: their support. We’re now on a platform that simply cannot be denied, whether domestically or globally. There is no excuse anymore for Roman Reigns not to be nominated for—and win—an Emmy this year. It has to happen.” Paul Heyman said.
Additionally, he said, “I’m so sick of it. The entire television industry has moved forward post-COVID, and Roman Reigns didn’t miss a single week of television, even while production was shut down. He carried this company through the COVID era, brought it to where it is today, to a multi-billion-dollar merger, and now we’re on Netflix. There are no more excuses. Roman Reigns deserves an Emmy.”
I’ll throw myself in there too. The Wise Man deserves an Emmy. Paul Levesque deserves an Emmy. WWE deserves an Emmy. But it all starts with acknowledging who the most captivating, riveting, and compelling character on television is today. And it’s been the same answer for the past five years.”
“That answer is—and yes, I’m biased, but that doesn’t make me wrong—Roman Reigns.” Paul Heyman added.
