Rhea Ripley has regained the gold.
At the WWE RAW on Netflix premiere, Rhea Ripley challenged Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s World Championship. The bout marked the third time that they had clashed since Morgan won the title. Morgan previously beat Ripley at WWE SummerSlam, and Raquel Rodriguez cost Ripley her match against Morgan at WWE Bad Blood.
The two foes battled back and forth. In one highlight, Morgan hit Oblivion onto a chair, but Ripley kicked out.
In the closing moments, Rhea Ripley then countered Oblivion and slammed Morgan. She finally hit two Riptides for the win.
After the bell, Dominik Mysterio snuck up behind Ripley after the match. He opened his arms for a hug, and she kicked him below the belt. Ripley then hit Mysterio with the Riptide. As Ripley celebrated, The Undertaker appeared and joined her.
Rhea Ripley was previously forced to relinquish the WWE Women’s World Championship due to injury in April 2024; she had held the title for 379 days. Becky Lynch then won the vacant title, and Morgan beat her to win the gold at WWE King and Queen of the Ring. Morgan’s reign spanned 226 days.
