The Rock Hugs Cody Rhodes, Acknowledges Roman Reigns At WWE RAW On Netflix Premiere

The Rock returned to WWE at the WWE RAW on Netflix premiere.

For the first time since WWE Bad Blood, The Rock appeared on WWE programming on Monday, as he helped WWE usher in the Netflix era. He came out with his People’s Championship, which he presented to his daughters at ringside. On his way to the ring, he embraced TKO CEO Ari Emanuel and TKO President Mark Shapiro, who were at ringside. He then entered the ring and reflected on how much the business had changed, as he highlighted the move to Netflix.

The Rock announced that Monday’s show had the largest arena gate in the history of WWE. He acknowledged the Netflix executives in attendance. He jokingly threatened to go “Squid Games” on Netflix Co-CEO Ted Sarandos if there were any glitches. The Rock then brought up Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and teased that he was ready to spill more of his blood. However, he said that Rhodes, who was in attendance, had carried the company on his back, and he thanked him.

The Rock also acknowledged Roman Reigns and said that he would be watching his Tribal Combat Match with Solo Sikoa closely. He closed out by saying it was time to get the show started.

As The Rock made his way out of the arena, he hugged Cody Rhodes at ringside and whispered something to him.
